Privacy and site analytics

We measure visits to understand which pages people use and where our website audience is located. We use our own analytics service, with no third-party analytics script.

Your browser keeps a random analytics identifier in local storage. The server stores only a hash of that identifier, so repeat visits from the same browser count as one visitor. A separate visit begins after 30 minutes without activity. If you clear browser storage or use another browser, you may count as a new visitor.

We estimate country, state or region, and city from the network address when a page view arrives. The location can be wrong or unavailable, especially when a VPN or mobile network is used. We do not store the raw network address in our analytics records. Traffic records are kept for up to 395 days.
